Understanding Costs & Performances
Acuity Benchmarking provides landlords with comparative reports and dashboards, enabling executive teams, boards, residents and other stakeholders to determine how performance, costs and resident satisfaction compare with similar organisations.
Acuity offers Annual Performance Reports for member clubs, as well as a combined Annual Report for all stakeholders. The combined report is published in December every year, providing insight into the overall performance of Acuity Benchmarking members, including trend analysis and performance comparisons with the rest of the sector.
Alongside this, members can generate their own reports and dashboards, to compare performance against smaller housing providers nationally or any subset they choose, based on size, region and a range of other profile data.
Our Approach
We believe our role is to provide data that enables housing providers to analyse how costs and performance compare with others and to understand what ‘good’ looks like. This data is also valuable in presenting lenders, potential partners and other stakeholders with assurances that organisations are efficient, well-run and delivering on their social value.
Benchmarking members use our website to record details of their performance and produce bespoke comparative data reports. The library of performance indicators has clear definitions, standards and examples, to ensure everyone calculates their metrics the same way. We also provide training sessions and helpful aids, equipping members to confidently input and retrieve the relevant information.
