One of the things our members consistently tell us they value most about the Acuity Benchmarking service is practical insight at the right time: not just data, but support that helps them navigate complexity with confidence.
Alongside Benchmarking Clubs and peer networks, Acuity members benefit from a programme of member-only webinars, designed to cut through uncertainty, provide clarity, and support informed decision-making at both operational and strategic levels.
In 2025 alone, we delivered nine member webinars, reaching over 1,200 attendees across the housing sector. These sessions brought together trusted specialists and sector peers to explore issues members are actively grappling with, from regulation and compliance to risk, governance and service delivery.
Our upcoming webinar programme continues this approach, with sessions shaped directly by member feedback and emerging sector priorities.
Supporting Members Through Heat Network and Ofgem Regulation
With Ofgem becoming the regulator of heat networks from January 2026, members are understandably seeking clarity on what this means in practice.
In January and February 2026, Acuity members will have access to two complementary sessions focused on heat networks and consumer protection regulation:- A technical briefing led by GEMEBS (GEM GREEN), exploring the implications of the Energy Act 2023, upcoming licensing requirements, and what heat network operators need to prepare for over the next 12 months.
- A practical follow-up session with Fairheat, building on our 2025 webinar, designed to be less technical and more action-focused. This session will break down the recommended plan of action for 2026, demystify regulatory timelines, and reinforce a key message: organisations still have time, but starting now matters.
Building Confidence Around Cyber Risk at Board and Executive Levels
Regulatory change is not the only area creating pressure. Cybersecurity has rapidly moved from an IT concern to a core governance issue for housing providers of all sizes.
A further member webinar, in March, will focus on cyber risk from a leadership perspective, led by Chris Ward, CEO of Vermont Systems. Rather than technical theory, this session introduces a business-led framework designed for senior leaders, helping boards and executives understand cyber risk, ask better questions, and move from uncertainty to confident oversight.
More than Webinars: Part of a Wider Member Offer
These webinars are not standalone products. They sit alongside:- Benchmarking clubs and facilitated peer discussions
- Access to trusted partners and sector specialists
- Ongoing insight shaped by member priorities
Our aim is simple: to help members prepare, not panic, and to provide space for shared learning in a sector facing constant change.
